For this look I used an amazing lipgloss that I found at Bath and Body works. The super cool thing about it is that the color of gloss changes to your particular lip color. Tested it out with my sisters … Continue reading →
Let’s talk lips. Often times we ignore them or avoid putting any sort of color on. That needs to change ladies. Lips are like a beautiful necklace that pulls an outfit together. While it is easy to let them fade … Continue reading →
Once upon there was simple lady who did not have a sweet looking closet. As you may have already guessed that lady was me. The state of my closet made me feel as though I never had anything to wear, so I would continually add new editions to the collection. Before long I had an overly stuffed closet, and still nothing to wear. New clothes no longer felt appealing when added to the dark, tragic clothes cave. Then one day I realized the difference between the clothes in my closet, and those in the store: Presentation. The people in the store work to keep things organized and easy on the eyes. So now whenever I organize my closet I think of ways to sell my clothes to myself.
Here is one tip to help you achieve a classy closet
Use matching hangers
This is a very simple idea, but it makes a huge difference. It makes the closet look cleaner, and allows you to see what is on the hanger rather than the hanger itself. It doesn’t matter what kind of hanger you use, be it plastic, wooden, or wire, just make sure the match.
Let me know if you tried this, and how it has worked for you!

I hope each of you are enjoying a super duper 2014 thus far!
After my previous post I was so encouraged when I received messages of encouragement, and even heard from someone who has also been struggling with Morphea, and was interested in sharing information to help each other. God is so provisional, and I am grateful.
I have decided to share my symptoms and such on here, so if you have any information, or have experienced the same thing, I would LOVE to hear from you!
Paleo is still yielding great rewards, so I am sticking with it.This week I have really started experiencing a lot of spasm pain where the lesion is. It feels like someone is tugging at a deep bruise from the inside. On other Morphea sites I saw that others had experienced this as well, and that so far the doctors are all saying it is most likely that the nerves in that area have been over taken by the scaring. I am wondering if I should have further testing though to ensure that it has not progressed into the muscle. Any thoughts or opinions on which specific tests to request?
So this is a recent picture of the progression of Morphea on my stomach. To be really honest, I am slightly embarrassed to show you because it is weird looking, but my hope is that perhaps it will help someone … Continue reading →
This movie was beyond the word “excellent” can describe. My sister Lindsay and I saw a little less than a week ago, and the message is still vivid in my mind. It reminded me about humanity, and what God has created us to be. It reminded me of the good and the bad that we are capable of. The story follows the rise and fall of Nazi Germany, a time that we remember with disgust and horror at how humans could treat each other in such a way. What a slow and deceiving decent it was for many Germans in that time. Everything they did is nothing that we today are not also capable of doing. They preferred to be blind in order to avoid controversy and consequence. Isn’t this what we do today? Take a look and examine history, and then take a look around you. Take a deeper look at Obamacare (still don’t understand why the word “care” is included in that). Take a look at how we view health, wealth, children, and elderly. Take a look at our morals (or many times the lack thereof). Many of the early decisions that the people of Germany face in the early ’20s and ’30’s are the same issues we face today. Our lack of a voice beyond whiny complaints on social media will have difficult consequences. These are just a few things to think on when you go watch the movie. I walked out crying my eyes out, but I also left with a new resolve to be brave in speaking the truth and loving people no matter the consequence.
I would love to hear what you awesome peeps thought of the movie, and your opinions on the political and moral problems faced in it.
